the strange familiar (late post)
There’s a strange familiar about his city. It’s as if I left home and landed at another home. It’s both inviting, exhilarating, annoying, and intoxicating. And as tired as I am right now, and that’s very, I can’t help but take in what seems to be an infinite amount of concrete beauty and towering breathlessness. New York doesn’t seem foreign to me or any of us. It’s as if it was waiting. Waiting to be discovered by someone special. I think it was waiting for me.
I think I’m home.
